The number of songs you can fit on a 32MB memory stick or SDRAM really depends on what kind of quality you want and the type of compression you use. Most mp3's will sound fine at 128kbs and at that rate most or your songs will be between 4 and 5MB giving you 6 to 8 songs on your memory stick. A lot of people will not go lower that 192kbs which is considered close to CD quality. At that rate you would be hard pressed to get 5 songs in that space.

Try out some different compression methods and see what works best for you. If you can handle the degradation of quality at lower kbs that you can get more songs in the same space.

If we will tell that the one song is about 2 mb (with but quality) you can fit 16 songs.

Depending on the size of the songs, you can get about on average 8 songs. That is if the songs are about 4mb each. Hope this helps!

On average songs run approximately 1Mb per minute of length. So if the songs were all about 3.5 minutes you could put around 8 into that amount of space.
