how much money you spend in a year on photography?

please mention wether you are a professional photographer or just hobbyiest(for non comercial purposes).

Varies. When I buy a camera I spend about $1,000. Otherwise, a few hundred for printing, frames, accessories. I am an amateur. Been in a few galleries but never made money. I am not convinced that going digital saves money. The cameras cost more for the same quality and individual prints probably cost more per print than getting a role developed. Of course with digital you can print anywhere that is cheaper. Film scanning can be expensive - but this is more pro stuff.
