Yes, yes it is... I don't like it. I try to get involved, but it's hard, and corrupt.

I am sure there are some elected officials that could be deemed crazy. On a broad scale, if money is your main motivator, than I guess most of the elected government officials would look pretty sane. I don't think as a whole the American government is crazy. Hell, I don't even think our elected officials are all crazy on the same day, otherwise we would have launched a nuclear weapon by now. Your question is very broad and fully loaded. You may want to narrow it down some.
I love this country, even if it is full of crazy people! If you want to know true insanity, why don't you go to the middle east and talk to some of their extremist! It will blow your mind! That is, if they let you out alive to tell the tale.

I wouldn't say that the American government is crazy, but the people who elected them are. The American government seems to have its priorities messed up.

Compared to what other government??? Sure our government has flaws but which one doesn't. All throughout history, people have been corrupt. I think we have a wonderful government and system. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else.

I am not fond of many of the government's current dealings but then again, I'm sheltered a bit and don't know all that's going on.
I wish a lot of things would be done differently.

I believe the US govt. is making a serious mistake, perhaps crazy might be a little extreme, in its failure to make a pre-emptive strike on Irans nuclear facilities and on its overly casual concern about our pourous southern border and all the illegal immigrantes already in the USA..
