On the radio this morning they said there were 2 games because it is the opening Monday Night Football. That they wanted something special for the opener

Money, Money, Money......... Mo-ney.
I think this going to be a ratings success, east coasters get to see their whole game and be in bed before eleven. west coasters get to see a game and a half (if they don't leave work early to see all of the first). I bet next season it will be Monday night double headers every week.

i have to work straight through both games and it sucks, my dad says its a waist of time

i think it's just a celebration of the first MNF on ESPN. and probably because it's september 11th.
