We need more numbers to get an average. You only gave us one number. If you have all the weeks' numbers add them all up to get total wages. Divide that answer by the number of weeks. That is the average weekly wages. I hope Gail didn't quit after the first week.

You calculate an average by adding up the numbers and dividing by how many numbers you added.

So, if week 1 was 250 and week 2 is 0, the sum is 250. Divide by 2 to get the average... 250/2 = 125
