none of those are true punks, they are instead what the mainstream would deem punk for marketing purposes, real punk are bands like the Ramones, they invented punk and inspired bands like the Sex Pistols, The Clash, Bad Religion, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, X. Those are all older school newer punk bands are bands like The Krum Bums, The Addicts, Lower Class Brats.
Plenty more but please check those out to get a sampling of actual punk music.

only green day comes close to being the idea of punk rock. The rest are either pop or rock.

none of these are punk bands, i don't think there's a main stream band out at this time that i would call a true punk band.

Try bands such as Crass, Ramones, Toy Dolls, the Exploited, UK Decay, TSOL, Bad Brains, early Skrewdriver, etc.

None of those are punk. ..But don't let people tell you what to like. I hope you're not trying to classify yourself. At any rate, my favorite punk band is Dead Kennedys.

None of those are punk...they are "punks" yes as in losers who don't respect shite. In fact Blink was almost Ska back in 95 :)
