this is not meant to be explicit or inappropriate. my friend's uncle went on a bear-hunting trip in alaska and is now displaying in his house something that he reports to be the "penis bone" (?) of the bear he killed. this is a serious anatomy question. do bears have bones in their penises...? do people or other animals have bones in their penises. help! i'm very curious. thanks!

The male bear has a bone in his penis called a baculum. In a large bear the baculum is about the size of a small cigar, providing the additional stimulation the female requires for induced ovulation.

That's just absurd! I mean the uncle, claiming that. And no, people and animals do not have penis "bones". The penis is made up of muscle and tissue.
