It has been 5years today since the horrific attacks from those monstrous "people".

OMG!!! is this remember 9/11 going to go on all day with yahoo answers. It's over and we all remember but let's not jump up to grab the klennex box too soon. GEESH! I would rather mourn the loss of someone I knew than something that didn't envolve me.

Oh on harsh laws about others coming in from other countries? It still continues and we have thousands of terriosts in our country just waiting for their call before they will act. Guranteed.

It only gives further proof that man cannot rule himself. All those innocent souls killed for what--nothing! A meaningless death is tragic. If we are to believe in God at all and look to him for guidance- then both Christian and Non-Christian can only share the shame and the guilt for such a tragedy. I am from England and my country is littered with shameful acts in the past and it continues today in Iraq.
My heart and prayers go to the survivors of 9-11 and their families who are the true heroes of this world and hope that someday God does what he has promised and takes back what is his and gives us true peace.
God bless you and keep you in his heart always

My first thoughts after the first plane was the terrorism between the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland. Then, as the second plane hit the next tower, I thought this was just a movie or scene in a video game being put on TV. But my commute home became quite surreal as the train station parking lots in CT remained full day after day; tow trucks or spouses eventually came to empty those parking lots...on the train we all began to actually look at each other and say hello. People began to get to know each other's names. I was only working in NYC for a 90 day period and it was just a trial period at a new job - I could not go back to that job.

Hi Kelli,
My heart also goes out to the survivours and the families who lost beloved ones however, I think now is a time for closure and that pillock GWB is just using the grief of those brave people for his own political ends. You cannot have closure when that stupid man drags those people to ground zero every year. Five years is ok now they all must look to the future and live their lives to the full and like everyone else...... " Live each day as though it was your last, because one day you will be right"

Kind regards Dirky

The tragedy of 9-11-01 is a horrible truth one that must not be taken lightly, in fairness of all underlying facts we must not forget who gave these terrorists their training and weapons. twenty five years ago we made a pact with evil, we financed a gorilla war through Afghanistan against Russia, we won! But we were unable and unconcerned about disarming the power we lent to these people. Now we have turned this tragedy to a profit making machine which cannot give justice to any person who died and who continue to die in the name of patriotism. I feel shame and horror at the acts of genocide that have been spreading across the globe with my tax dollars, the innocent lives that have been taken are in the hundreds of thousands now! We are torturing people who have nothing to do with 9-11 using excuses that make us little more than savages. we have watched as our most cherished notions of civilization have been turned into theocracy aimed through religion and watched shrugging as our constitution is raped of it's last truly democratic soul. If i am to feel anything for those who died on 9-11 then i must feel for those who have paid a price that was not theirs to pay. We supported Saddam's tyranny through the oil for food program for many years we supplied his weapons we cannot fail to understand the lessons involved. I will hold out hope that they will be learned.

Yes, My heart and prays go out to them and I will never forget it for as long as I live. I do not mean to sound self centered or anything but when I saw the first plane I was thinking OMG I hope my brother in laws not flying today since he travels allot. Man was I wrong it was my sibling brother that was traveling and was flying over them witnessing it all happen. God Bless and may they all rest in peace and their families find comfort.

I hope that we, as Americans can come together as a country again. 5 yrs ago, the murderous terrorists came to our country and killed almost 3000 Americans. Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, friends, all innocent people going about their daily lives. There were also many heroes that day. I pray for their families, our President, and our country today.

Every family that lost someone has my thoughts & prayers for the rest of my life.

I Really hate the fact that in a way America did this to themselves, IF we had more harsh laws on People comming to this country , this would have never happened.
