It was a black man jumping head first from the world trade center. I know there were so many people that died but for some reason watching him on tv still stays with me today. I pray for his soul and all of the innocent people that died that day.

I remember seeing many people jumping out of the buildings on the news that night. Just horrible, I keep praying for them all to this day, and for their family and friends they left behind. I cannot imagine making a choice like that....how horrible and heart wrenching. I pray for the world, as this was truly felt worldwide and there were people from many countries who died. I pray for our troops overseas now, standing up for our freedoms.

Anyone that gets a chance should see this Excellent video documenting 9/11.
It depicts just how "human" we really are underneath the facades so many of us put up each and every day.

Warning...yes it does show bodies (people) jumping from the buildings, and it is horrific.

When facing the option of burning alive I'm sure they saw it as a way out. I'm sure they did not mean to engrave the act in our mind but for some reason the human brain will remember the bad longer than the good at times

The most haunting part of it, is hearing the impact of the bodies. Something I will never forget. Can you imagine what was going through their minds at that moment, their desperation? What the conditions were like in those buildings to rationalize a decison like that? Just too much to comprehend...

Yes, I saw his picture as well ; and was reminded to say a prayer . Looking at that picture , I felt sure he was praying , if he was still conscious . A heart-wrenching scene .

I remember seeing something like that, not sure if it was male or female, but like you said, the image is burned into my mind.

Like it was yesterday. A horrible sight, and a strongly emotional one. My heartfelt sorrow goes out to those who lost their lives and loved ones on that day.

prayer doesn't work for me.
