He has changed in so many ways although he is still sweet and makes me feel beautiful all the time. I noticed that he is more controlling. He is kind of perfectionist and he always wants his way. I'm kind of moody sometimes but has reasons. Most of the time I have to control my emotions/feelings/not to get angry because he has this attitude that instead of trying to be calm and understanding when I'm upset, he would be upset too. I don't know what to do. I've tried my best to be the very best GF. My only mistake is that I showed him how much I really love him. I'm hurting but I can't do anything. he used to be the one that apologize when something went wrong but now, It is always me who tries to compromise. Please help!

if you been together for 12 years,it as good as it going to get, with someone else it can only get worst diffrent problems that this relationship brezzy by. could be he cant handle your moods try this thinking ,you know that you feel better in a couple days after you feel depress, you know that being depress will age you,and is taking it out on your body, you know your falling into a trap if someone made you depress and you get depress, life is to short for games that go no where. so I am going to get one step ahead as Iam one step behind now by not feeling sorry for myself, and not thinking about and we going to do something fun together so I can avoid it this time, I will be in control. hope this help anyone , work for me

How old were you when you got together? My ex and I were 16 ad 17 when we got together and stayed that way for 6 or 7 years. We had a child together, lived together - but at one point we realized we had both grown and changed so much over the years as you are supposed to do. While we still loved each other very much, we went our seperate ways (well not too seperate since we have a 5 year old together!) and have been good friends for the last 3 years or so.

To sum up, I would say it's time to move on. All is not wasted - you two helped eachother more than you'll ever know!

Sounds to me that you are doing most of the giving and he's just getting. Compromise is a two-way street. You both need to give and take a little. Relationships are not always easy but the best thing to do is to sit down and talk with your bf. If he doesn't listen to your needs and/or denies it. Let him go. Also, when you do see him-and how he is-you can't have high expectations of yourself and him b/c you won't go anywhere. A prince charming is someone is kinds, sweet, thoughtful towards you and thinks the world of you. If he is messy and your clean-try not to expect him to be as clean as you. After all, prince charmings come in different packages for everyone. That's why each one of us has a prince charming in their loved ones somehow. Best of luck to you and him!

Have you tried talking to him. Don't use the words "You always...or You......... " Those words make a person feel like they are under attack. Try saying "I've been thinking lately....... or "We seem to be having a problem over.........." Try using the words " There are times when I feel............." When trying to talk to someone never make them feel they have to defend their actions. It's amazing what a difference it makes when trying to get a point across about something.

Movin' On.

I get up in the morning and it’s just another day
Pack up my belongings, I’ve got to get away.
Jump in to a taxi and the time is gettin’ tight
I go to keep on movin’ I got a show tonight
Mmmm,
And I’m movin’ on, movin’ on from town to town
Movin’ on, baby, yeah I’m never touchin’ the ground. Yeah.

Change is inevitable. You can either accept this change, and work with him. Or, if it becomes unbearable, then be sure to let him know the reason. But whatever you choose, do not, please do not, attempt to change him.
