Yeah, if I'm in the car longer than an hour I'm gone. The ride puts me out like a newborn baby.

I have. My neck really hurts after words. And if it is late and my bf is driving I try not to fall asleep because I am paranoid that he will fall asleep too. That happend one time on the way home from Niagara Falls and I heard a funny noise and woke up, he was falling asleep behind the wheel and we almost crashed into a median!! So we pulled over and got some sleep, what a s h i t t y ride home! I guess that is what happens when you are poor and can't afford a frigg'n hotel room.

Not unless it is a VERY long drive - as in over 3 hours. Even then, I don't sleep the deep sleep, just sort of doze. But - many people do fall asleep when driving, which is extremely scary. Most people start out awake but do fall asleep when on long trips - like me - and just need to make sure they pull over and rest, or turn over the driving to someone that is more alert.
Also - never drive during your body's down time, as you will probably fall asleep, even with the radio blasting and two quarts of coffee in your system!

All the time! If I'm riding for over an hour- rest assured, I will be asleep for at least part of the trip.

it's so hard for me to fall asleep anywhere. so sad. my hubbie can fall asleep anywhere. i have to be in bed, and it has to be dark, with no sound. i have made myself sleep in the car on trips, but it's never a fun experience for me. lol.

Yes I do as long as it's a long trip. Now an airplane is different I'm out before it leaves the runway.

Yeah. I love it when I get the chance to do that. In fact, I've always wanted to take a cross-country train trip. Would love to spend the night on a sleeper!
