Fertility can become a big issue and something like 25% of couples who undergo and fail fertility treatments end in divorce. For those couples who remain together--myself and husband included--have learned to lean on each other to cope with the pain and together we're learning to accept it. Many of the other posters say adoption--not all infertility patients want to adopt. It's a very personal choice.

As the other members have mentioned there is the option of Adoption although I guess its a long drawn out affair. But I'm sure very worth it!
Or some ppl may be just as happy being a big part of their nieces or nephews lives. Maybe the option of fostering children is a way to go too. This way you are really 'giving' to a child/ren in need and gaining great satisfaction too:-)

Consider internatinal adoption. The cost ranges from $15,000 - $50,000 depending on country. There are so many children abroad who need good homes and unlike adoption in the US the waiting is usually only a few months to a year. There is also less worry about FAS and the mother or father changing their minds. There are a lot of adoption agencies and social workers who assist with international adoption.

If it's your own natural child you want, you should adopt and turn all your frustrations over infertility into devotion and dedication to this child that would be homeless and unloved, if you hadn't come along.

After a lot of grieving/trying and getting second opinions they learn to accept it and decide to go for adoption!!

It must be really hard, but once they adopt a child they learn to love them as if it was their own....God Bless!!

It's very hard to cope with this situation, but it's a fact and nothing can change that. If they really want children, they should consider adopting.

By not being so shallow as to not think that they could adopt, there are lots of kids that need a good home.

Consider adoption. There are kids out there who need parents. You guys are wannabe parents with no kids. It's a perfect match.
