Disempowering generations of citizens making them slaves to the state, totally dependent on state sponsored entitlements is not a crime.

How do you come to this conclusion? Are you a minority? I am. I am no ward of the state. I am college educated, self-employed, a homeowner since I was 21 years old, pay taxes, drug and alcohol free, never been to prison, vote in every election including primaries and local elections, involved in my community, debt-free, law-abiding (in case you thought I was dealing drugs to accomplish this), heterosexual and no children. I am also Black. This is the portfolio that applies to all of my siblings with a bit more to their credit as well. Most of the people that I am friends with are in the same situation.
You should stop listening to FAUXNews and really get to know people. I am sure that those that are "wards of the state" are plently tired of people like you using them as a reason to justify your bigotry.

How are democrats oppressing them any more than the republicans? No true government system in the US is ran how it should be. All parties have faults, none are better than any, and people who believe a republican is better than a democrat is blind, just like anyone who thinks a democrat is better than a republican is blind. The two systems of government do work well, it's just the political humans that run them aren't doing a good job. I think Democrat or Republican can be at fault for many things.

Its common misconception that 3 or 4 generations of the same family who have used welfare cannot get off of welfare.
Some people think they are just lazy. But I believe that if you continually give someone something for nothing then they will take advantage of that system.
Giuliani made all the welfare recipients here in NYC work for their checks.
