Deep Ellum, wet & wild, six flags, the museums, the botanical gardens, Shakespeare in the park, football, baseball, sports of all kinds, shopping out the wazoo, horseback riding, hiking, there are all kinds of tours to go on, train rides, and restaurants of all types. Either check out the yellow pages, or check on line at the city of Dallas. There's just too much to list here, but whatever you do, have fun....and don't miss out on the dancing!

Deep Ellum is a historic district due east of downtown Dallas. It lies along Main, Elm, and Commerce Streets starting at I-45 and extending eastward from there.
The Galleria is at I-635 and the North Dallas Tollway. It's upscale in a nouveau-riche way. NorthPark Center is one of the largest malls in the country, and it's located at US75 and Loop 12. It's upscale in an old money way (I prefer it to the Galleria).

Six Flags over Texas is near there and worth a day.
The Galleria is a nice up scale mall.
Taking a ride to the top of the moon tower at the Hyatt is always fun (and I think free). There is a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower as well. However, it is a bit on the pricey side.
Oh... I forgot to mention Deep Ellum. That's where the local club scene is...

I live in Dallas, go to Deep Ellum! It's a whole district downtown which has clubs and bars---Way too much fun!!!!

The Galleria mall is great also pretty much everything the first person said, have fun the big D is great!

everything you mentioned, are all there, good malls, good clubs, great restauraunts, Find a phone book, and check it under what ever diversion you enjoy, they also have museums, and six flags, lots and lots of stuff to do
