this is my second child and I am currently 27 weeks. I am positive that these are only Braxton Hicks contractions and have already consulted my doctor. I started feeling them over two weeks ago and feel them at least once or twice a day. I don't remember feeling them so much with my first child.
Anyone else experienced feeling them so often so early?
I have been under an extreme amount of stress for the past month and a half and wonder if that relates at all.

They certianly aren't painful, just uncomfortable... I was just curious..

I'm doing alright, Lindsey.. Thanks.. I'm glad that you liked it and hope that it opened your mind about my point a little more. Even if you don't agree.. I do hope that you know where I was coming from.

I should have titled this "16 and had sex, am I pregnant".. or "Is breastfeeding better"... I may have gotten more replies.. It's funny that when people ask ligit questions that can't be answered with a simple reply.. not many answer.

With my second child, Braxton Hicks started at eight weeks and I felt them several times a day after that. Some days they were five minutes apart for several hours. My daughter was born only one day early.

I had that happen with my second child as well. Except for him being born nearly a month late, I had no problems with the pregnancy. But, like you, I also suspected they might have been stress related as I was going through a divource at the time.

A lot of the time woman having their second child will feel them sooner and more often. Its possible that your just more tuned in because you already know what they feel like.

I think it's normal--I had them with my son, constantly. It's hard but just try to go on normally.

How are you? I liked your email...sorry I haven't replied back!

Why don't you change the title, repost, and see what happens?
