There is not evidence that it was planned, but there is evidence that the US government and the Israeli government had advanced knowledge of the attacks.

The only conspiracy theory is the official line! A conspiracy theory is a theory with no concrete evidence. The story they told about 19 arabic guys that flunked out of flight school pulling nearly impossible maneuvers in huge passenger planes has absolutely no facts or evidence to back it up. None. Not one shred.

In fact, 7 of the 19 have been found alive since 9/11. 2 were captured in the UK 2 months after 9/11!

There is lots and lots of concrete evidence showing that it was planned by this country. For instance, the hole in the pentagon was only 16 feet wide. the plane was 44 feet tall and over 120 feet wide, with two 6 ton titanium and steel engines which, according to the official line, bounced off the wall without breaking the windows or even leaving a scratch on the wall. The Pentagon has only released 5 of the frames from a video camera that would have shown the plane, but omitted the frames that showed what hit the pentagon. there were several other video cameras that saw the whole thing, but those tapes were confiscated within 2 hours of the attack.

A Tomahawk cruise missile leaves a hole in a wall approximately 16 feet wide.

The WTC buildings were designed to withstand a direct hit by a passenger plane just 31 years ago! If the official line was true, the first three times in history that a skyscraper collapsed due to fire were WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7...in fact, the only ones ever!

The "crash" in Pennsylvania? A hole in the ground with no scorch marks, no skid marks, and pieces of a bunch of different types of planes...but no airplane. Another historical first...that a plane crashing in a meadow left no scorch marks, no skid marks, no forward motion visible, and parts from different planes thrown in.

An intelligent person can look at evidence and make a decision. A stupid person just takes whatever their leader says (even after he's been caught lying more times than anyone I've ever heard of) as the Gospel Truth. Without evidence. None.

That's why people think that the tragedy was perpetrated by the very man that you people support!!!

Take a close look at yourself and decide if that is who you really want to support. Look at the facts. Make an informed decision, and stop being a sheep being led to slaughter!

Uh, Bush in no way used 9/11 as an excuse to bypass to Iraq. do not you even know cutting-edge heritage? Why do not you practice your self? seem up the Authorization for use of armed forces stress hostile to Iraq decision of 2002, and seem up all the excuses it lists. 9/11 isn't one of them. As for Obama's faulty declare that we'd want to continuously ignore about all different terrorism besides those responsible for 9/11, and that we'd want to continuously invade and bomb allied international places if mandatory, isn't all that rational or sensible a plan. those who trust we went into Iraq so lets get our fingers on the oil there are basically deluding themselves.

I don't believe it was planned by the USA but I believe that they didn't do something to avoid what happened.I can not understand how a country like USA , which is considered as very safe, was hitten by terrorists like that. OK with the first plane but what happened with the second one?Maybe USA was not so safe, just because noone could believe that there are people who dare to do what they did.
I am not an american, I come from Europe but I still remember that awful day and I just want to say r.i.p. for those who left.
Let's hope that there is going to be real justice for them and also let's hope that their families will take an answer for the real purpose of their death someday!

In general, I believe that many conspiracy-chasers are people who have grown up feeling excluded. These are people who didn't get to be part of "the club" in school, who bashed fraternities in college and grew up to obsess over groups like the Masons.

While resenting those that exclude them, they are also consumed with envy at their percieved power. In their envy they respond the only way they know how--the "excluded" becomes the "excluder." By claiming to know the facts behind an alleged conspiracy, they grant themselves power over the imagined conspirators.

Note that most of the 9/11 conspiracy posters do not present information in order to persuade. They present it to show you all the things they know that you do not. They want you to know that they find obvious what you cannot even fathom; they understand that which you are not capable of believing.

There is no need for fact-checking, because "facts" are not the issue, "knowledge" is.

For example, the famous "16 foot hole" at the Pentagon. They present as a "factual inconsistently" the "fact" that 100-ton plane made only a 16 foot hole in the Pentagon. In reality, anyone who watched the WEEKS worth of newsfootage or saw any of the thousands of published photographs could clearly see that the hole was much larger. In all these pictures you see firefighters and construction workers standing in the wreckage...Even if you've never seen the Pentagon in person, you'd have to believe that these men were only about a foot-and-a-half tall in order for the gap to be only 16 feet wide.

The fact is, they do not want you to believe, because in their minds, as long as you refute them they have power over you.

That is why they seem so passionate over that which others see as insignificant--For them, it is an issue of their identity.

it amazes me that people who pay attention to details and ask lots of questions are labeled as conspiracy nuts..yadda yadda yadda.

I am, and would rather much be, a supposed "conspiracy nut" than be a lemming who pays no attention to their surroundings and plays follow the leader to their demise.

I doubt that any person who truly and honestly researches into the events of 9/11 and it's causes could NOT come away from it not believing the "official word".

Google Gulf of Tonkin then tell me 9/11 couldn't be an inside job

Some people are angry with how the government has handled the war on terror, Pres Bush's actions (anyone remember WMDs) and unfortunately we all need to blame people for everything so these feelings of anger and frustration over Bush's actions have turned into blaming him or other republicans for masterminding the whole thing. I also heard a theory about how the Jews really masterminded 9/11 and again that simply is because there are people who want to blame people and already in there mind have lists of people who are at fault with little or no concept of the reality at hand.

Because the whole tragedy could have been avoided in the first place (apparently!...i found out by watching a couple of documentaries): Bin laden gave 8 yrs of warnings to the U.S. but the government didnt think he was a major threat

So it wasnt really planned, but more neglected by the U.S.

R.I.P. to all who died....we still remember you

BECAUSE IN 2000, PNAC PUBLISHED THEIR AGENDA FOR AMERICA. AND THEY STATED:

"the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor."

http://www.newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf

AND THEN LO AND BEHOLD 9-11 (A CATASTROPHIC AND CATALYZING EVENT) MAGICALLY HAPPENS 1 YEAR LATER?

THEN, AT 11:08 ON THE EVENING OF SEPTEMBER 11,2001, BUSH WRITES IN HIS DIARY:
"The Pearl Harbor of the 21st century took place today."

A COINCIDENCE?!! LOL!!

If you have a power hungry lot that runs the country, and they all have been old friends with the #1 leader of the people responsible for the attacks. And you want to eavesdrop on your own country then you do what Bush has done.
Make it look like a attack from foreign interests and then evac everyone that you deem usable from the government and hit civilian populations with a high death toll.
Fake the blast at the Pentagon and then you can install all the illegal wire taps, break ins to get info from comps and files in peoples homes, data mine the whole country as well as trace your emails and tap your phones. All done with out the blessing of congress. Can we say Heil Mien Fuhrer?

Because some people will believe any half baked idea that is presented to them. A lot of Americans hate our government, and that's not just the Bush government but government in general. Politicians are not trusted and some people go so far as to think that the politicians would do anything, including killing their own people, to stay in power.
