Tell her to go through your insurance, rather than talking to you directly. She might be trying to bully you into admitting fault.

If you say anything to her at all, tell her to let the Police handle it if in fact she does call them. The second thing is, is how can someone from Liverpool call her and say the accident was reported yesterday if it just happened today? This is why we have and pay for our car Insurance. This is also why we have the Police. B/C it's the job of both the Police and the Insurance Company to handle situations like this. Sounds like she's the one trying to come up with some sort of scam. That's what I would do if it were me.

She was probably abusive because she has no insurance, so be careful. If I was you, I would report it to the police as a matter of caution. They will take a statement from you and give you a crime number. I had an accident years ago now, when some dozy women drove into the side of my brand new fiesta, and I was peed to say the least. She gave me her insurance details, but something just didn't ring right with her. So I went to the address she gave me and she didn't live their, I called the number she gave me and it wasn't hers, to say the least again, I was fuming, so I went to the police. About three weeks later, she was in the garage filling up her car which coincidentally was right next to the police station, my friends blocked her in front and back and called the police, who came out and arrested her. Turned out she was a prostitute with a string of offences and had not turned up to court for some of her offences.
She got her just desserts in the end.

First thing to do is try to relax. Car accidents are bad news - as soon as you start crumpling metal there's going to be some loss.
Anyway I'm sorry you got into an accident it's a real pain.
I agree with everyone who says that you should terminate any conversation or communication that the third party attempts to have with you. You can use the phrase "I'm terminating this conversation" - which my solicitor uses effectively with belligerent people. You must not enter into any discussions with the third party.
You should tell your insurer (via the legal representative if you have legal cover) that you are being harassed by the third party. You should also tell your insurer (in the written statement of events) that the third party was verbally abusive.
Then try to forget about it.

Insurance. if worse comes to worse, insurance will give you an attorney anyway. Insurance is always the best way to go. You can also still get a police report done, usually up to 24 hours after the accident. This way the police report gives you everything in writing as well, esp. since you are going through insurance anyway

Yes, females get hysterical don't they. I had a similar thing. You don't say who you reported it to. The police don't need to know, unless someone was injured. I think that she is trying to stir something up here, probably looking for compensation for a fake injury, like we are all being encouraged to do. Don't trust her, and definately don't admit guilt, that could invalidate your insurance. Just make sure you report it to your insurance company, and then let them handle it. I assume you have given the other party all the information that they legally require. Don't have any more contact with this lady because, she may be trying to frighten you off from taking it down formal channels if she is not insured herself, or worse. Play it with a straight bat.

Edit: enable me spell it out for you considering you do no longer look to get it. You have been bare in a public section. Had he opened the door once you have been clothed like a gentleman, you will have merely claimed you have been clothed the entire time. something that he sees is relatively your fault, and your fault on my own the 2nd you desperate to demonstrate your self the place all human beings has a precise to view. I understand that his habit is very despicable, and that he's performing sort of suspicious afterwards. yet as a count number of reality nevertheless is that he did no longer and is no longer doing something unlawful. the single that broke the regulation substitute into you. you do not have a case.

Get your insurance company to deal with it. Tell her that the next time she calls. If she is persistent - report her to the police or get your Solicitor to write her a strongly worded letter.

I had a similar thing happen to me. Do not speak to the person involved, hand everything over to your insurance company to deal with. It's the best way.
It's a shame people have to be like this these days but we live in a "litigation society" it seems.

Dont have any dealings with her, and if you want go to the local Police station and report it yourself. You dont have to but it'll cover your back. Let the insurance companies sort it out.
