I have a friend who has been my friend since the 5th grade. Her man is a big time dealer and now she sits like she is on a pedestal and we both grew up in the hood. They spend money like it grows on trees. When I talk to her about problems I have like bills she lies and acts like she has those same problems but she doesn't. She doesn't associate with me if her man is around because I guess he thinks less of me because I can't go and spend money at any time or go to the club whenever. They don't want anyone to know where they live because they are so afraid someone wants what they have. I feel if anything they shouldn't know where I live. I am a hard working taxpayer and I should be afraid I will be hurt by someone chasing them because of their lifestyle. I let her know where I live now but when I move I plan on letting her go because she is not a friend. So tell me would you be the same way?

i understand your concern...if your gut instinct says not to tell her where you are moving then by no means should you tell her

Yeah, it seems as though the saying was true, Money changes ppl. She is def. bein blindsighted by the cash her b/f has. I dont blame you for not wanting to keep her around, she seems like she just damages your own self-esteem. Do what is right for you, and karma is a *****, she will get what she deserves. And im not sayin that to be mean, just that the way she is treating u now, cuz she got a man with some cash, will all come back around.

She isnt your friend. Run, don't walk, as fast as you can away from her. You could get your kids taken away, because of the company you keep. And if she were a real friend, she would help you out with the bills. I do that for my friends if I can. Its the basics of being a friend to help when you can.

She is definitely not a friend and you are right to just end the so-called friendship, She doesn't really care about you and never has.

I agree with you. If you EVER get the feeling when you are with a friend that they think so much more of themselves than you it cant be true friendship.
