well its around 10, maybe 11 inches of puckered red skin, which smiles at you, and its the end result of an amputation... and theres a 4 inch gash that happened when my motorcycle helmet visor shattered and ripped my eyebrow, eyelid and cheek.. and that was one accident 25 years ago..
motorbikes are dangerous, and ive still got 4 of them, and to be on the safe side i drive a volvo...

My scar isn't that impressive, but it turned out to be VERY useful.I've got it when I was 5.I was standing near a wooden fence and somehow I got a tiny wound( wood got under my skin).I've taken it out,but the wound grew into a scar. Anyway, it was so helpful- I learned to tell left from right, because it was on my right hand and every time i had to tell where is left/right, I looked at my hands and knew the answers.I still do that sometimes, even though the scar is faded( i"m so sorry for it- I love this scar)

I have two 17" scar on my abdomen. The first was 18 years ago after a car I was a passenger in crashed into a tree. It is just slightly to the right of my navel. The second was about 5 years ago when I had to have an operation to remove some adhesion's from my lower intestines. That one is slightly lower than the first and goes through my navel.

I can't compete with some of these massive scars , but i might have the most - I have lots (as in 50ish) all over my body after falling off a pushbike while charging down a hill , the only problem was that the field had just been harvested and the stubble was still sticking up. I have all these little white dots all over me when I get a tan............ looks like measels in reverse

I have a scar from the base of my neck all the way down my back to my hips. I had surgery to correct scoliosis. I have about 20 screws in my spine along with rods.
I also have a scar across my stomach from surgery when I was born - I had a diaphgramatic hernia, which can be fatal.
My favoirte scar is my c-section scar from when my daughter was born. It's barely noticeable.

My first and most impressive scar was the one I earned riding my bike...The second would be a scar I received during a surgery procedure to check for possible cancer in my chest. I had the surgery at a young age and learned to hat the 14 inch scar that I was permenately left with....as I grew and matured and learned of the numbers of women who had lost their lives battling cancer, I learned to appreciate my fortunate turn out of being cancer free and learned to accept and be proud of my scar.

I have a 12 inch vertical scar on my stomach, that inspires questions every time I take off my shirt.
I often say I was stabbed in a fight or in a war, and when the asker gasps in a horrified way, I tell them the truth that it's from a medical operation when I was a child.

This is gonna creep people out but it's a two inch scar on my right wrist where I tried to kill myself.
I'm not boasting that I tried to kill myself, I deeply regret it and all the pain I caused my family but it serves as a reminder of what I have come through and how much better my life is now that I have come to faith in Christ and been saved.
I have a lot of scars from self harming but I got through it, praise God, and I am a stronger person.

NoOdLe, you worry me with these questions.
I have two scars of note. On right forearm, which I got when trying to make a wooden sailing boat using a penknife, age seven. Above left eye, when I ran headlong into a rusty metal fence aged about ten. Not my best move ever, but I got maximum cool points for having some really grotesque stitching.
What's yours?

A 6" scar running horizontally right below my kneecap.
It happened when I was getting off the chairlift (while snowboarding), My snowboard got caught underneath my friend's (sitting on my right and I on the left of the 2 person chairlift) and causing me to fall onto her upturned snowboard. I slid on the edge of her board for about 2 feet, and when I tried to get up, I couldn't stand under my own power. When my friend tried to pick me up (I was screaming on the ground) blood gushed out of my knee and I passed out. I woke up in the infirmary to them telling me I had cut my knee open all the way down to the bone and I needed surgery. After the surgery (and a few more down the road) I have this nifty scar on my left knee and the fun story of how it happened.
Oh yeah, it hurt like hell.
