One of my woman friends got pregnant, though not through any effort of mine I might add, and she also was concerned about using her toys during her pregnancy.
The reason was simple: she didn't want to risk the baby any further through unprotected sex with her boyfriend, but she didn't want the tools to inflict harm upon her or the foetus either.
The good news is: orgasms, even those mechanically induced, aren't harmful to you or your baby.
However, if you are normally at risk of premature labour, including a history of premature labours or family history of pregnancy complications, your best bet in this would be to see your physician first, see what she recommends.
Things to look out for include pre-term labour, spotting blood and membrane ruptures.
The experts my friend consulted recommended external stimulation of her clitoris, rather than using the vibrator internally, and if she needed anything more intimate, that her partner should use a finger. This is recommended even for women with no medical history of problem labours.
If you're careful, though, the risk to the baby should be minimal.

Your baby is safe in the womb, it is very well cushioned and if you do not use a very deep penetration with it your baby should be fine, however you need to keep it extremely clean because the material dildoes are made of can keep bacteria for a long time and an infection is the last thing you need when you are pregnant, it can lead to a premature birth or miscarriage. You should still ask your doctor.

Well coco, I don't know what kind of vibrator you had in mind, but I'd guess in general they will not harm you baby, especially during the early part of your pregnancy. Do NOT try to use one of those giant ones, either in length or girth, and don't shove the thing up 12 inches into you and I think you'll be fine.

you can use a vibrator up until 6-7 months pregnant. after that you may want to check with your physician. as the vibration my loosen the sac. although you can then use a clit stimulator just not a toy with insertion.

I don't believe it will hurt your baby, providing you don't insert it far into the vagina. I know you might be embarrassed to ask, but this is something that your doctor should answer for you. I have heard that orgasm near the end of your pregnancy can start labor, but again, I'm not a doctor.

Hi,
When you think about it, a Vibro is very like a penis, intercourse does not stop for the majority of people, BUT, what we do stop is certain positions, for example, deep penatration is pushed aside (no pun) and the couple tend to " spoon" and the woman takes control.
in short, its a time when only women can take control of Mr Plastic Fantastic!

I have heard it is not. I didn't use a vibrator...so I wouldn't know from experience. Ask your doctor or Google it.

It is alright to use during pregnancy, as long as the pregnancy is with out complications. I didn't have any side effects. And my baby was born in the exact due date.
