I've been using them since I was 13 and I'm 37 now and I haven't had any problems with them.

They're hit & miss. Overall the line has improved since L'Oreal bought it, but L'Oreal is still your best bet at the drugstore.
I agree Great Lash is waaaay overhyped, a lot of people use this out of habit & loyalty and not because it's a good product!

I like Maybelline. Their "dream mousse" products are really good. They go on smooth and the foundation covers really well but isn't cakey and all the blush colors are really pretty.

I, myself only like Maybelline eye liner. I have been using it since I was in high school (long time). I use the Dark and Medium Browns for my eyelids and I use the Velvet Black to lightly darken my eyebrows.

Yes. I've been using them for a long time. I love their foundation, pressed powder, liquid eyeliner and mascara. The great thing about their makeup line is that it doesn't have a "scent" like a lot of other makeup manufacturers product does. It lasts long and looks great!

I've used their eye shadows and they're pretty good. However, I've never liked Great Lash mascara (a customer fave)...too gooey and clumpy for me, I've never understood what the fuss is about.
