You are going to have to fix any loose suspension make sure all the tires are rebalanced Hunter GPS 9700 road force balance is the only way to go. High speed shake up and down or shimmy felt in the steering wheel. Or do you feel this vibration in your back side? The Back Side could be the rear half shafts U joints are worn. PLEASE! Make sure your car is ready for high speed I road race My 2006 GTO and take about 2 hours to change brake fluid air pressures torque wheels tighten bolts and go completely over the car. A old Corvette might take days to get track worthy. Don't go out and break down.

It could be a number of things. Check your tires for proper air, your wheels might not be properly balanced, the front end could be out of line, you could need new brakes, your suspension could need some work, or it could be tranny problems.

I would avoid torturing the car until you have it repaired. You could be doing more damage to it than you think.

Make sure your alignment is in perfect or near-perfect shape and have your tires rebalanced.
