I wash my walls with half white vinegar and half water a couple of times a year. Spray your furniture with FreBreeze. If you are a heavy smoker, you might have to shampoo the carpets. A quick fix is Glade Fans. I use them in my smoking room -- could not bear it without them.

Several bowls or small containers of ground coffee. It really works! Put about 1/2 to 1 cup of ground coffee is several places, it might take a 1/2 day depending on how strong the smoke is. While your waiting, clean all curtains and anything washable, if there's no time, spray them with a vinegar and water solution. If all fails, use "Febreeze". Good Luck!

Quickest way is to do what the pros do. Use an ozone machine. check out your local rental shops. These machines are used by hotels and companies that deal with smoke damage from fires.
Of course, do the obvious, wash everything you can. Clean your carpet or whatever you have time for, but get the ozone machine up and running ASAP.
Good Luck!

Try putting some bowls of white vinegar around the house or stinky room. I've done this in the kitchen for cooking smells and my mother did it years ago when she had company over that smoked.

fry fish, and surely that disgusting smoke smell will vanish. Or simply remove the smoker for good!

Paint, open the windows, put bleach out, vaccum, put powder on carpets then vaccum it up, and/or clean everything.

Let the cat whiz all over the carpets. You'll never notice the smoke smell.
