Yes. You may feel stretching pains or soreness in the abdomen very early in pregnancy. Sometimes it feels like a pulled muscle in your lower abdomen.

A good book for this time period is "What to Expect When You are Expecting."

My back hurt with my second pregnancy but I never had pain in my lower abdomen until labor.

yeah I think my lower abdomen hurt a bit when I first became pregnant like a period pain but not quite.

first of all you should be examined till now you do something relating to the cramps. while you're pregnant those cramps are regularly occurring. As a RN and a mom of 5 I had those cramps with all my babies it is your abdomen/vaginal muscular tissues tearing to make room for the newborn. they're going to subside as quickly as the newborn gets to it rather is comprehensive ability weight or gets right into a cushty place. stable luck!

The left side of my lower back hurts since my second trimester. My gynecologist said it's because the baby is growing and is currently pushing against my back.

Sometimes it will be a little tender but if you are hurting alot you need to take this up with your doctor. You could be trying to miscarry or their may be trouble.
