Heater core is leaking V8 94 Mercury Cougar. To bypass core for several weeks I do what? Could I change out?

definate bad heater core...you can get a bypass at the local parts store for a couple of bucks...you just conect the two hoses going to the heater core together...

Install a flushing T into the heater hoses pulled off the firewall in the engine compartment. "T"available at the auto parts store and buy two new hose clamps then start looking for a mechanic you can trust to remove your dashboard to get to the heater box.
