say thank u and tell her she's sweet. then tell her u never say i love u until u're in a rship, becuz u believe that love takes time and isn't something that happens with one look or one moment. but keep telling her u think she's sweet and really nice and etc.
she's probably just one of those people who uses 'love' very casually. it doesnt mean she wants u to marry her. she's just using an overly exaggerated word to express her feelings.
BUT if she gets clingy, be careful. she probably did mean she loves u, and wants to be married to u and have your kids and grow old and stuff.

The best thing to do is talk it out and hold a muture conversation as adults, explaining your thoughts and feelings in an un upsetting manner. Tell her how you really feel and she might not be happy if you tell her you don't love her back, but it is the right thing to do because you don't want to lead her on and then all of a sudden admit that you don't love her and break her heart. Better now than later.

I suppose that depends on how you feel abot them... if you have any sort of feelings for this person then just roll with it and tell them you want to take it slow because the "L" word is very serious... but since you say you dont know them then it sounds like the person could possibly be clingy and quick to "fall in love" and should be approached with great caution.

ummm...i need more info. if it's a stranger that just walks up to me in a public place and tells me that, i'd run to the nearest police station. if it's a co-worker, i'd rearrange my schedule to allow some lunch time with that person and try to get to the bottom of things if it's not all just a joke. i wouldn't degrade them or laugh at them if they were serious. i would find out what they're basing that "love" actually on before i proceeded. hope this helps!

Maybe it is love at first sight, if you think you might like this person, try it out and see what happens. you never know you might love her back.
