How much does a sense of humor really matter to you?
Does a good sense of humor compensate for not being intelligent or physically attractive?
If a person is unattractive, does that person become attractive by virtue of being smart?
Same question above, but switch attributes.

I think even if your looks is not the best and you have a sense of humor and can make me laugh i dont really care then about your looks as much.cause beauty is only skin deep and it doesnt last forever,and id rather know i was with someone i got along with and made me laugh then someone who just looked good how boreing!!!

A sense of humor is really important! Mind you, so is intelligence. I would rather spend my life with a funny clever person any day. As for your question about someone becoming more attractive by virtue of being smart...No, not always. They become more attractive by virtue of being nice caring people. The same way a really really attractive person can suddenly become the most repellent person on earth just by opening their mouths.

I think so.
I worked with a guy that I would never have taken a second look at but because he was so smart and charming he became attractive to me. I looked at him a little bit more and in a different light, and he had really nice eyes and was really great to talk too and actually very sexy. But that also comes with self confidence.
My friends brother liked me, I didn't think that he was all that cute at first but then I became friends with him and he had the best sense of humor. He made me laugh all the time and we had so much fun together. I soon thought that he was HOT! And so did all of my girl friends, and initially he isn't the best looking guy - your typical stereo-type hot guy.
So to answer your question PERSONALITY plays a big part in a persons attractiveness, espcecially for women. Men I get it are visual creatures and physical attractiveness comes first and is most important. But a really good looking guy that thinks he is all that and is cocky and an ****** is ugly to me. But if he is really attractive and has a good personality then obvioulsy he has his pick.

Well i take humor and brains because u can be smart sexy.u could be ugly and still have a good heart cause i got alot of friends just like that

Intelligence always. I could talk to a normal looking man all day if he were intelligent a lot easier than I could a good looking man who was as dumb as a box of rocks.

In personal experience, I have met people that I did not find physcially attractive but as I got to know them and learned how funny they were, the person suddenly seemed attractive to me.
