how was it the first time around? I'd wait until there was a little bit more commitment before having another child... i.e. marriage....

Going through a divorce, I've actually thought about this. For us, it was our children that kept us together. If we had another, it would completely confuse us both because we wouldn't give up the child but we wouldn't stop supporting that child. My divorce is confusing so it's probably not the best example but personally, I would have another child after my two now. However, it will have to be with a person who loves the children ... and me ... even if it's my ex.

You havn't said enough about your history. Nevertheless, it depends on both of your commitments to each other. I suggest u get married first before attempting another child. Sorry, If im rude but what if you break up again after the second child? Have u considered the consequences that comes with it? its your choice in the end.
