my grandparnets want me to do this and i have tried several times now. i fianlly got a dvd burner instead of buringing them to cds. now i need to know a easy way to make it into a movie

Go into your help and support. You don't mention what Windows platform you're using. In XP, there are several steps. It may be easy to create a movie by dropping still pictures but if you want to show it in your TV DVD player, there will be additional steps. The best thing you can do is try looking at your help & support. There's a lot there. Just look up DVD burning.

if you are running a windows XP system, its really easy, go to start, all programs, and look for windows movie maker, drag and drop all the images into the project aeria, and arrange them into the order you want them viewed, go ro finish and complete, and select the drive the disc is in, tada, your movie picture is done!
