Yes. I stand behind our President. Of course he makes mistakes, he's human, but I feel like he is doing the best he can to protect our country and it's citizens. I'm a veteran so I am very proud of our troops. People just have to remember that our country is at war so extra precautions are necessary to protect ourselves.

I was not a George W fan before it happened and nothing has changed. 9/11 was not clinton's fault, and not bush's fault either. It was problem with the system, the CIA/FBI system setup to prevent this all from happening. If you watch the documentary about the 9/11 commission, the systematic failures in communication just got passed from one President to the next President.
That doesn't excuse Bush from the terrible way things have been handled since. Less than 50% of the recommendations from the commission have been implemented, and we are in a unwinnable war that we should have never been involved with.
Bottom line: Do you feel safer now than you did 5 years ago, and do you have more faith in our government than 5 years ago?
I would have to answer a resounding "NO" to those questions.

If Gore had been the president instead of Bush, I don't think 9/11 would have happened.
I think his office/administration would have paid more attention to all the warnings and info they had received, and I don't think they would have just let it happen.
I think Bush has built his presidency on 9/11. While it was the worst thing America has ever experienced, I think it was the best thing Bush experienced, because it gave him something to talk about ... and talk about ... and talk about ....
If not for 9/11, I don't think he'd be a 2-term president. I think he's milked the fear factor like a pro, and that's what's kept him with even the bit of popular rating that he has.
Imagine how different America and the world would be, if 9/11 hadn't happened. If only ....

I completely support the president at the time of 9/11 and now. What he does may not always agree with popular opinion but at least he has the courage to try and do something instead of doing nothing. What did Clinton do after the bombing of the US embassy and The USS Cole?

I was trying to accept Bush as our president, and the day this crime happened I was glad our leader was OK and in charge of protecting us. I now have serious doubts about this administration's innocense in the crime and wonder now just how involved Cheney was that morning running NORAD's drills. As for the war in Iraq, I support our soldiers, not this administration tho that put them there.

I back him 100%. What would have happened if "Someone else" was in office? If we had done nothing at all, those terrorists would still be attacking us. Should we just sit back and take it? I don't think so. We must fight for our freedom at all costs. I think Bush is doing exactly what should be done. And I would vote for him 100 times over!! He handled the entire situation with professionalism and dignity. I respect him and his opinions and I always will. He is one of the best presidents we have had in a long time. I don't necessarily like war, but if that's what has do be done to protect our rights and freedom, that that's what we have to do and we must support our troops.
It is because of them that you people out there can protest your opinions and views. And have the freedom to do so without violent reprocussions. You should be grateful to them!!

I did not vote for him nor do I support him.
However, I think having Cheney with him in office allowed us the opportunity to not initiate a quick retaliatory strike that could have caused something more severe. We took our time and made sure we knew who the enemy was and then took action.
That is all he was correct in.
The entire Iraq debacle falls on him and the lack of knowledge and falsehoods he purpetrated to complete what his Father could not.

Probably would have happened if he was in office or not, so it doesn't really matter. It wasn't his fault, it was the terrorists.
I'm not really a huge Bush fan, but I know enough that it wasn't his fault.
