Got any favorite episodes? I like the one where "perfect" Mary has a very imperfect day - she has cold, a bumpy hairdo, and looses her false eyelashes at the Teddy Awards.

I LOVED watching Mary Tyler Moore! I was a kid in the 70s and I thought that she was a great role model for girls. I thought it would be great to live in a cool apartment and have a fun job like she had.
There are so many funny eps that I can't think of any one particular one that I can think of as my favorites. However, every time we have a party, I think of Mary and try as hard as I can to make my party succeed.

My inlaws lovved the show so much! They lived in California when it was on, but they both grew up in Minnesota so they loved watching it. (Even though only the opening was shot in Minnesota)
They put up a statue of Mary Tyler Moore throwing her tam hat in the air outside the department store in down town Minneapolis a few years ago. MTM came and said it was only her second time ever in Minnesota (!!!) but that she has always considered it a second home in a weird way.

That was such a fun show! I think my favorite episodes are the ones with Georgette. Her timing was perfect and the looks Mary would give her!! Just a riot!!
Remember Georgette and Ted's wedding in Mary's apartment?! too funny!

The best one is when Mr Grant throws Ted through the door of the studio and then has to kiss Ted's behind so that he (Ted) won't sue him.
Second best: Ted, running short on time, gives the sports' scores thus:
"4 to 3.
3 to 1.
12-7.
Thank you and good night."
