What are the requirements for reporting in Florida when the only presence is an employee living in the state?

You need to contact the Division of Corporations and Department of Revenue to see if reporting is required. I'd say that if you're doing business (generating revenue - but "doing business" is actually defined in the Florida statutes, somewhere around Chapter 607) in Florida, even without a physical presence, you need to qualify with the Division of Corporations. I'm not sure on the Revenue requirements.
