If the battery is not dead, and the unit will not turn on after being dried take the unit apart in a clean area. Purchase Distilled water (not bottled water, and NOT mineral water). You want as pure as you can get.

Using a spray bottle spray your circuitry with the distilled water, and dry with a lint free cloth (not paper towel). Allow to dry. Put your phone back together, and replace battery.

Good luck.

The reason for all this is the most likely problem is you have a short, dried particles in the water create new circuits and you are out of luck.

Clean pure distilled water will clean it up.

Let it dry out. I overhead this guy tell this lady once in the sprint store who had the same problem to place the phone on top of her pc. The heat from the pc will help it dry out faster. Hope this helps! If not pay the fifty bucks and get a new phone.

If it was on when it got wet....it's most likely TOAST now. If it was off, I would let it dry for at least a week. Then try to use it. Oh yeah...hopefully you have insurance. Forget the store because they're most likely trying to take your money.

Take the battery out, unless you already shorted the battery. If you shorted it, you have no choice but to buy a new phone, a new battery may or may not work.

Allow it to dry a couple of days then try turning it back on.

Hey that happened to a lot of my friends (one which was submerged all the way under in coca cola) and they all fixed their cells by putting them in a bag of rice. I know it sounds silly but the rice absorbs the moisture deep inside the phone and you can keep it in there for a day or two till it works. Good Luck!

Remove battery. Let dry a few days. Re-charge. If that doesn't work, you'll have to get a new one.

Sometimes they work after getting semi-wet..

Dont turn it on and let it dry out, this may help. It may take a day or two, but hopefully this will work.
