when i moved here, a lot of boys were staring at me. i thought they were making fun of me, but my new friend jessica said that there were a ton of boys who liked me. of course, i was in shock, because as far as i knew, no boy had ever liked me in my life, except for some kid that lived 100 miles away from my school and another kid a year younger than me. jessica told me about this 6 months ago. now, just today, i told my other friend jannat about the 1st day because she was curious (we had just become friends because she used to make fun of me, but actually got to know me and now were friends). when i told her what jessica said, she told me not to believe her because jessica apparently lies a lot. i know both of them to gossip a lot and to have big mouths, so who do i believe? someone i just became friends with but used to make fun of me for 5 months straight, or someone ive been friends with ever since i moved?

Since they're your friends, I wouldn't believe neither one of them. Obviously, they're talking about each other behind their backs and you don't want to get caught in the middle. If it really concerns you that much, talk to both of the girls and hear what each has to say about one another. Find out for yourself which guy likes you. In the meantime, keep your head in those books and not worry about boys.

I wouldn't believe either one. Jessica could be being honest but so could this other girl, and the one who just became your friend doesn't seem like the best type of person since she was mean and nasty to you for 5 months.

Well if I were you I would believe the person that you've known and been friends with you since you moved. Someone who has teased you and has said mean things about you behind your back probably would not change their ways. But the most important thing is to LISTEN TO YOUR HEART!
