The guy who won cannot disclose the information. But the rumours name several men that were in her life: James Taylor, Warren Beatty, Cat Stevens and a couple others. Personally, I always thought that Beatty fit the description pretty well. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, she auctioned the answer but with the provisio that the buyer can't reveal the answer. Various theories exist including that she wrote about Mick Jagger and Warren Beatty.

I heard it was Warren Beatty.
She was quoted on Regis and Kelly in 2004 hinting that the name had the letters E, A and R in it. She had a relationship with Beatty so it makes sense.
