It's time to get new friends when you are not comfortable around the old ones anymore. Maybe you've outgrown them. You may be more mature than them or you might not feel good about the things they are into these days. This will happen throughout your life. As you change so will some of your friends. Of course, there's always the true friends that stay in your life forever, but those are usually rare...people you really trust. If you no longer have a good time being around them it's time to move on.

When you have to ask this question. The time has come for you to find friends. You can sort of keep the old ones to. There is no law on how many you can have.

When you feel that there's nothing in this world for you and you should just die. It shows that evrybody's (Even your friends) not helping you and you're in trouble.
You can never think like that if you would have some good friends. So its the time to get new friends when you think like that.

when they aren't doing anything for you. If you're getting so satisfaction from being someone's friend don't. Or, if they constatntly talk about other people around you, they probably talk about you when you aren't around and it's time to move on.

Pretty easy when you out grow them, be it finding them doing things that annoy you constantly or when you just in essence grow up yourself.
