Even though you are separated you have the right to spend time with him but don't make to much out of it.
If he wants to fall back in to the same relationship with you because it is what he is used to. Or he wants his new person with no contact with his other life to show he has moved on to his new involvement.
Until he makes up his mind what he wants you keep yourself from falling back into the same routine.
The best kids from broken homes are the ones with communicating parents they do not let the kids use one parent off the other.
Don't Settle for second best or an afterthought.

You have a "right" to do whatever you want with YOUR husband. Now does it make sense for you to be his "space-filler?" No, it's stupid. You're separated for some reason. He apparently has someone (or some ones) in his life. Sounds like you need to get someone in your life. If you aren't ready for that, just get a life. Join a gym, volunteer at your kids school or a shelter. After you put him off a time or two, he'll stop using you. Which is exactly what he's doing. Get some pride, Girl!

If I understand - your husband has a girlfriend?
If that's so, then you should have no contact outside what's necessary for the children. Remain friends for the children's sake. It sounds like he still has some issues with you, but wants to stay in contact with you. It sounds like the old cliche "have his cake and eat it too" (no pun intended).

He's a man. You have the right because you are grown. But if he doesn't take your calls, he's not really serious about you. Yeah, it's just a booty call.

Yes you still have the right but you both need to want it. To me, it sounds like he may not want to.

Why are you torturing yourself? One of the hardest things to do is move on, but you will benefit in the long run.

i understand you are seperated but if he has a girlfriend, he must not care too much about your marriage. and of course hes not going to answer his phone for you when he is with her.
