Given the resources you have at your disposal in your home, how would you survive? Let's assume that the zombies are starting to take over the world similar to the situation at the beginning of the movie Dawn of the Dead (2004). Also, let's assume that the zombies would eventually die off on their own in a few months or so.

If i woke up to the stuff that was happening. i would sit there for a few minutes. watching to see if it was for real or some joke. ALL the while thinkin about what i was gonna do. which would be: check outside to see what was happening in MY neighborhood WHILE on the phone with some of my friends checking in on them As well as my family!!! IF anyone of them said yes this is FOR REAL! then somethings gotta take place. which would be ME grabbing what i needed and gettin in my car and headin to my closest friend or relative. Anything that gets in my way will die!!! zombies running towards me better speak of i will shoot! or run ova em!!! i will make my way to my moms and dads. picking up anyone who aint dead yet! meet my friends and find a place to go that might be safe! IF we see any cops or authority i MIGHT ask em what the hell is going on but probably i will move on. they got enough on their hands. besides they probably will be dead already! or as confused as me! I would probably find a place upstairs. There is a nice army navy store near here but its only ONE story. I guess someone in the country would be good IF i could get outta town but the 2 story place might have to work. hold up as long as we could. or until we have a better plan.

Considering that the only resources in my house are myself and a vacuum cleaner, obviously I'd just have to think of something. I could probably divert their attention away from mayhem by suggesting that, once they take over, it would be necessary to have a base of leadership in place, and that they needed to get together and select several hopefuls for the top spot. I'd point out that each zombie selected would need to raise campaign funds, that tours would have to be mapped out for public exposure, then a convention would have to be held to choose a nominee, who would then have to campaign all over the nation to improve his chances of being elected. I figure, by the time they get all that done, they'd be dropping like flies and the crisis would be averted.
