Please give me two examples of leading edge technologies and fears that are causing the resistance to use them in our society??

1. Cloning technologies (e.g. Dolly, but on a human scale)
People fear that they will be cloned and that scares them somehow...


2. Micro-nuclear technologies (originally cited by Wired Magazine last year over China's research into micro-nuclear power sources for vehicles, homes, etc.) People don't want nuclear meltdowns and the potential radiation poisoning in their vehicles or homes. But then, why would you put a high-output transmitter right next to your brain (cellphone) daily?

One example would be the wheel. People are afraid that the wheel will make it so that people can more easily defect to a neighborhing village in case of problems in their home village. Also, it might cause intermarrying between rival villages because of the resultant ease of travel.

Another example is the printing press. The ruling elite does not want an educated populace. The priesthood's stranglehold on education and literacy pretty much keeps everybody else in the dark. A knowledgeable peasant is a dangerous thing!

Finger print identification for just about everything, The resistance is a "Big Brother" mentality.

Air port screening, fears are two fold 1 It does not work ,2 Invasion of privacy!
