NO! Not unless you want a load of furious parents knocking on your door and possibly the police. Use anti-climb paint instead. But you must put a sign up saying that it is there!

Actually no because if anyone hurts themselves on it they are able to sue you for damages. You are best speaking to your local council and asking permission to put up vandle paint, though you have to put a sigh up as well stating that the vandle paint is there.

I may be mistaken but I think you can put the wire on your garage roof as long as it is not part of the boundary dividing. Your local council is the best ones to ask as differernt councils have different rules.

I think you may find a problem with this if a child injures themselves on the wire. There are cases of children entering enclosed premises and being injured and the court saying it is the owner of the premises at fault as the premises are an allurement for children so precautions must be taken to avoid injuring them

Not a good idea unless you want to be sued. Try putting some trellis on top, it's not strong enough to hold their weight. Or you could try anti vandal paint, but put up a sign stating it's there, that will stop the parents coming round and trying to do you for new clothes.
Good luck, I have the same problem.

When I lived in New Orleans I liked the way they had broken glass bottles embedded in the top of their stone and cement walls. Still people would try to climb over.

Traditionally you set broken glass into the concrete around your 'castle'. Not exactly neighbourly. Can't you try another way? Like talking?

If you do, and they (or anyone else) hurt themselves, you are in for the high jump... and will land on the sharp edge of the law!
