the command is color . Values are from 0 to 9 and then A to F. For example, if you want to set the foreground as white and background as red, use the following command:

color c7,

where c (light red) is the background color and 7(white) is the foreground color.

there isn't a command to change the background of the command prompt.

you can only change the background of the command prompt using either the mouse or a seperate program if you want a background picture.

Just right click on upper most of the CMD prompt window and click property>set background colour> OK

all you have to do is right click in the upper left corner of the command prompt window, go to properties, then colors

just select the most upper part of the commmand prompt - right click-properties-color

there is no command for this
right click on the top lefthand corner- click on properties- click selct colors- select the color- ok
