Not just the local ones but all levels of government are wrecked in this way.

They are wrecked by many things, but I agree, they are obsessed with the 'isms', as though they are the nations Guardians of correct thinking. What an arrogant bunch, and what has all that nonsense got to do with providing services, sorry, I meant, ESSENTIAL SERVICES, to the community they are supposed to serve. They are part of the public sector, which is inherently inefficient, because it has no competition. It is bureaucratic, politicised, unionised and thinks that it is in charge of the nations morals.

Absolutely! I work for a local authority and you would not believe the p.c. nonsense that goes on. We are sent on training courses covering stuff no one in the real world would care about taught as if they are talking to five year olds. The waste of money is phenomenal.
