To recieve my e-mail's and i e-mail other's and it's taking a while when they get a e-mail from me ....I have broad band

depends on what website do u use to send the emails.\
is it yahoo or Gmail or MSN,,
coz, if u send within the same site, its a bit quicker and if u do it the other way round,, it might take a bit of time..

There are numerous reasons that could cause this.
The least likely is your connection, although it could be your provider.

Are you using email from your broadband provider or yahoo?
Have you tried it from both? Or a third source like hotmail?

Are they all slow?

Are they slow if it's a simple hello? message - or only with attachments?

Most importantly what do you calssify as slow and how have you determined that your emails are slow?

Is the send/receive in outlook slow? or something else?

(If you sent me an email right now - I might not check it for an hour or two to reply - hence I'd be the slowness)

If you want to provide me with more information I"d be more than happy to provide you some ideas to look into

What is your AV scanner? Lots of times, Norton will (especially) slow down that stuff while it scans. Did you do something different?
