It depends on how much money you want to send on a mic. If you have a lot of cash to drop go with a powered mic. Then you will need a mixer with Phantom power to run that mic. Audix and Sure both make great sounding vocal mics. I have used both with good results. You will need some way to get the mic hooked up to your computer. you can either run a mixer in to your sound card. Our you can use a firewire connection and get a firewire device that you can plug the mic into. You will also need so type of software (thats if you are planning on doing this on a computer which nowadays is the easiest way). I have a fair amount of knowledge on different ways to go about doing this and for different budgets. If you want more information drop me an email.
