what did our government do to strenghten our borders and ports???? What did our goverenment do to strengthen the Immigration Laws.

Not a damn thing. So, unfortunately, no we are not any safer. It's a smokescreen.

Even worse, it's not a matter if another 9/11 will occur on our beloved soil, it's a matter of when.

"Safer" can't be quantified, but if you mean is the U.S. safer since the 9/11 attack I can't think of a more ridiculous thing to suggest. There is a "safer" feeling some people are fooling themselves into believing because they need to justify why Operation Shock and Awe killed thousands of Iraqi civilians. You can thank Bush and his supporters for that kind of faux "safer."

Just think about one simple fact: bin Laden is still out there. How could that ever mean the U.S. is "safer"???

You got analyses like "9/11:In Plane Sight" out there that suggest somehow the government itself was involved in how the attacks took place or could have been prevented, etc. Do you think Americans are feeling "safer" from their own government?

You got neoconservatives who scapegoat liberals on Yahoo like liberals are the Jew living in Nazi Germany. How could that political climate be "safer?"

And to top it off--Republicans are trying everything possible to remove the war in Iraq from the presidential debate! How could that political climate, which again was a direct result of decisions made after 9/11, be considered "safer?"

Anyone who would say the U.S. is "safer" in any way since 9/11 has been brainwashed by Bush's double speak.

NO!!! According to my common sense, the reason for the 9/11 attacks on the USA were Muslims' bitterness over the USA-under Bullshit Senior, Bullshit Junior & Penis Clinton-terrorizing Iraq, combined with the encouragement Islamic terrorists received from these 3 crimminals helping Islamic fanatics in former Yugoslavia. So now that Bullshit Junior conquered Iraq, the bitterness felt by Muslims only got worse. And Since Milosevic was murdered by the Kurva Del Pontes, Moshiach Ben Yossef (Dr. Seselj) is in their hands, and these Psychopaths are still looking for the Psychiatrist (Dr. Karadzic) and General Mladic, Islamic terrorists can only rejoice, and realise that violence is their best way to get what they want.
