Well I got my period today! Its 3 days early with is weird because before and after I went off the pill (june 06) I was regular. Its not heavy just kinda brown (old blood)...
I guess I am depressed like I always am when I get my period. Its like everyone around me has kids or is pregnant. I know I have only been trying 3 months (was on the pill 6 years)..but I feel like its never going to happen. Then to make it worse my sister is pregnant again with twins (already has twin boys) .. thats right again... how is that possible... she always is the center of atttention! I know it will happen when its supposed to, but I can't help but wonder, why everyone else gets pregnant if they are even within 5 feet of a man and I can't get pregnant!!!! my gf got pregnant right after she went off the pill!
HELP!

No I am not doing it for attention, me and my hubby have been together 6 years and are ready! I am well aware that kids are hard work! My sister does it for attention, its like she has fun making babys and then not taking care of them...I don't need a baby to love me! I love myself, and I want a baby becuase I am ready to be a mom!!!

You are stressing yourself out over things it will happen to you sooner or later.Screw them all , you should not care if they are pregnant or not, be happy for and with them. You should stop being stressed out about it and relax. when you have sex try to thing about pleasant things and not about your sister or somebody else who is pregnant.
If you still don't get pregnant, try to put a pillow or something else under your buttock in order to help the sperm to travel faster and easier to the egg.Good luck

I understand... its so hard when you are trying it seems like its so easy for everyone else, everyone at walmart and every where you look has a baby or is pregnant.... its hard... my husband and I are trying as well this will be month 2... people take it for granted, when we first discussed it the thought never really crossed out minds that we wouldnt get pregnant immediately... we planned the month our child would be born... well I have my period right now... but thank goodness we have each others support... keep on trying and even though itseasier said than done, try to remian positive and happy, I am sure you have many blessings and when the little blessing comes along you will appreciate it so much more... thats what I think about! BEST OF LUCK!!!!

Sweetie, you have your perspectives all wrong. Are you trying to get pregnant just to be the center of attention, or are you trying to get pregnant because you have a beautiful loving relationship and wish to create another human being as an expression of that love? Or that you want to bring a child into this world to love? A child is a HUGE responsibility...and the worst thing you can do when trying to get pregnant is to stress out over everything. Being relaxed helps with conception.

I was on the pill for about 6 years too, and it took me 2 years to get pregnant. I felt the same as you did. Friends would say "I think we want to start having kids" and the next month she would be pregnant and I was not. Just relax and it will happen.

First of all, stressing can delay it so just relax. Are you charting your fertile days? Give your body some time...you were on the pill for 6 years!!!!!! Give it time to get back to a normal ovulating schedule. It seems like your period is normal .. so count 2 wks before the next scheduled one and have it !
Good luck

i feel for you seriously. my hubbie and i tried for 1 1/2 year until it happened i too was on the pill for 6 year my doctor actually told me to count 3 month for every year on the pill...that would be how long it could take for you body to go back to normal...it was true with me but then again after ggetting tests done and being sure we were okay we decided to take a break it was so stressfull and depressing everytimei got my period. just try to relax and let nature take its course the longer you dwell on it the longer it will take...but tust me i know how you feel. good luck

Your body condition is different from the people around you. Sometimes it takes time to get pregnant. Do not stress out yourself. Divert your attention to stay healthy so you will be ready when the right time comes.
Good Luck!

it always good to vent
things worth it are worth waiting for. It will happen soon, three months is only three tries (ovulate once a month)
if worried go to doctor; get you man to get a fertility test (maybe it him); try some more
I mean c'mon enjoy the process dont make it work. If you stress out your man his fertility rate may drop.

Don't get depressed. Sometimes trying to hard for a baby backfires if you know you're planning it. It will happen when it's supposed to. If that doesn't ease your mind, try having intercourse when you know it's getting close to your time of month.
