That all depends. Biologically, when we start having wet dreams and start playing with our sausages, then I would say that it's time to hit it. Seems that nature has us programmed to work this way. Probably why in Medieval times and before, men and women were allowed to join in matrimony starting around 14 years of age.
Now psychologically, the pressures may be a bit too intense at such a young age nowadays. We're conditioned to wait until we're over 18 years of age, expected to be married, and be able to deal with the situation of pregnancy and raising kids. Try that at the age of 14 and see how it goes. Otherwise, your internal battle will continue...wanting to have sex...but dealing with the aftermath when done. Oh woe is me....what should one do?
Your best bet is to wait until your 18+ years of age. For now, "Palmela" will have to be your significant other.

It not a matter of how old you should be, but a person should be married before engaging in sexual relations. It should be borne out of a love and committment to each other rather than to serve lustful thoughts.

Making love and having sex are two different things.

You need to be mature. And if you want to know how old then you are too young to even consider sex.If an age could be put on the time to have sex it would be 18 or older.
