Hi...

I was wondering if anyone has any information on to whom are the elite poets of today's generation and is there a primary scene for poetry right now?

Any up and coming poets? Future prolific geniuses?

Thanks.

The very concept of poetry is pretty underground these days. One definite young great, however, is Robert Fanning. Another is Silver Jews frontman David Berman. Check em out, you'll agree.

Yeah me. I'm really popular but really far underground. I've read my poetry to acclamation all over SoCal at open mics for poets. So far still underground.

Popular and Underground do not belong in the same sentence.

gave you the idea that we'd be offended? the ONLY TIME a guy would act weird to something like that is if he thought the chick was annoying or something. but even if she's only kinda hot, go for it
