I have learned to never take one single breath for granted. I have learned that many wonderful people died on that horrible day. I have learned that their are actually people in this world that hate us and would just easily kill us as say hello. I have learned to be thankful for my children, my husband and, my home. I have leaned that only strength will promote and ensure peace. A hard lesson and I hope that we never forget it.
GREAT QUESTION!!!!
GO AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've learned that no matter who you are in society or what country your from whether its the most powerful or pitiful you/we are vulnerable to tragedies. Nobody would have ever thought an attack of this magnitude could ever happen on U.S. soil. We're not perfect, we have flaws like all other countries. Don't take anything for granted in this life because no one is promised tomorrow. That's what 9/11 has taught me.

I have learned much. I have learned it is better to be educated about our country and others then to be "in the dark" as I was on 9/11. I believe that our country (America) is not perfect, as no country is. I believe that the men who hijacked the planes will surely not go to Heaven. I have learned that many hate me because I am an American. I have learned not to judge someone based on his/her religion. I have learned to look at the world around me and realize that people suffer everyday, and innocent people suffer the most. I have learned to love more and hate less.

That's if you know who the bullies really are. I learned that freedom comes with a price tag.
We used to be the greatest country and don't misunderstand me when I say we still are, but we are not without sin, we have gone into countries and destroyed innocent people.
Our politics are so divided in this country that a lot of our enemies walk among us.

Amen to "the GREATEST coontry in the World". Personallly,I'm a lot more leary of people spouting-off anti-American rants. Also,I'm much more in favor now of profiling-esp those of Middle-East origins when it comes to boarding airlines. I remember a few weekends after 9-11,my wife and small daughter were flying to New Jersey, they were designated for extra searching due to the "quota" the airlines had then of how many passengers were to be subject to more thorough searches. My wife and daughter were taken aside at every stop, had all their carry-on bags opened and picked through,hand-wanded all over their bodies......like a solitary white female and our 3 year old daughter were major security risks!!. My daughter definitly thought they carried it to far when they started messing around with her Beanie Babies.!!

One thing we've learned is that we can not trust the Democratic party to handle national security. The first thing they want to do is surrender, and hope the terrorists start liking us eventually. That won't work.

I have learned a lot about muslims: extremists and mainstream both. Most muslims are peace-loving people, but here in US they have to suffer stigma for this.

I have learned to not take things for granted. That day scared the living crap out of me...I was so scared for my family & friends and ofcourse myself. I'm thankful for each and every day that I live now..

We should have gone after the real terrorists, not Saddam Hussein. He had nothing to do with it. Meanwhile Bin Laden is alive and free and plotting new attacks.

You never know when it may be the last time you see a loved one and always say I Love you before they leave.
