The next presidential election is still over two years away - in November 2008. The winner of that election (actually the vote of the electoral college based on it) will be sworn in in January, 2009.

It's a little early to say exactly who will be running - nobody's officially announced their candidacy yet - but conjecture and argument will keep the talking heads and political pundits busy for the next year or two.

Dispelling popular belief, our ex-first lady, now a senator from New York, has has been quoted several times (most recently to the voters of her adopted state) as saying she will complete her congressional term and not run for president. Of course, that's assuming she will keep her word when the time comes.

Hillary Rodham Clinton
Jeb Bush
George Allen
Al Gore
Rudi Gulliani

We vote in November and it will be the Bush/Guiliani ticket that wins!

I predict that there will be a McCain/Lieberman ticket running as a third party. This would unite the country better than having the Dems or Republicans winning again.

This country needs a big change and only a 3rd party can rock the boat.
